70.8% of the population is White, 6.6% is Black or African American, 9.3% is Hispanic or Latino, 15.9% is Asian, 1.1% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0.8% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 4.8% is two or more races. 92.1% have a high school degree or higher, and 46.6% have a Bachelor degree or higher.
The median home value is $377,300, there are 802,606 households, an average of 2.42 persons per household. The per capita income is $39,911, the median household income is $71,811, and 11.5% of the persons in King County are considered below poverty level.
