The Probate Division handles trusts, wills, estates, adoptions, guardianship matters, & involuntary admissions. The Family Division handles divorces, domestic violence petitions, parental rights, child support, & juvenile delinquency matters. At the second level is the Superior Court, which hears jury trials for civil cases of all amounts, felonies, & misdemeanor appeals from the Circuit Court. At the third and highest level is the New Hampshire Supreme Court, which hears appeals from the lower courts and administrative agencies. Go here to view our NH Court Records page.

The New Hampshire Department of Safety Division of State Police will perform an official criminal background check for a fee. Violations and misdemeanors are handled by the District Division of the Circuit Court. Felonies are handled by the Superior Court. Click here for more information about NH criminal records.
