Make check or money order payable to Department of Health. There is a $13.00 charge for every ten year search (death, marriage, or divorce only) In the event no record is found, an $8 search fee will be retained for each certificate. Fax and phone request fee starts at $24.00.

Death records available from the Washington Department of Health beginning July 1, 1907 through to two months before now. For recent records in this or last month, contact Local Health Departments in the county where the death occurred. For records before July, 1907 contact the Washington State Archives Research Office.
Marriage Certificates available from the Washington Department of Health beginning January 1, 1968 to four month prior to the present. For records earlier than 1968 or those issued in the last four months, contact the County Auditor in the county where the marriage license was issued.
Divorce Certificates available from the Washington Department of Health beginning January 1, 1968 to four month prior to the present. For records earlier than 1968 or those issued in the last four months, contact the County Clerk in the county where the divorce was granted.
