This office provides:
Birth records since July 1898. City of Baltimore birth records since 1975.
Death records 1969.
Marriage records since 1990. Prior to 1990, Contact the Clerk of the Circuit Court in the county where the license was issued.
Divorce records (verification only) since 1961. Certified copies should be available from the Clerk of the Circuit Court in the county where the divorce was granted.
The Division of Vital Records office will not do research for genealogical studies. Instead, apply to the:
