2) Free and near-free searches - listed below. Oregon provides access to several online criminal record databases. Most are free; the others are inexpensive. We suggest you start with the resource below titled “Court Records | OJIN Criminal” and set up an account with the Oregon Judicial Information Network. For pennies per search, you can check all Oregon counties for criminal court records. We also list resources below for Department of Corrections inmates; VineLink inmates and offenders; federal inmates; registered offenders statewide; federal criminal court records (through the inexpensive PACER system); and court calendars, inmates, crime maps, and arrests from available cities and counties.
3) Oregon State Police Public Records Unit. Information on how to obtain a statewide criminal record history check from the Oregon State Police (OSP) Identification Services Section. Searches are $10 each and results are sent by mail. Requests can be sent by mail, fax or via an Internet account. If the inquiry is for employment purposes, you are required by law to inform the applicant of the criminal history search.
