1) Louisiana Warrants and Most Wanted Directory. Search for criminal wants and warrants in Louisiana.
2) Free searches - listed below. By law, complete Louisiana statewide criminal histories are not available to the public online. Criminal histories can be ordered from the Bureau of Criminal Identification (see option #2 below). Otherwise, only select Parishes contribute criminal court records online. See the resources below for criminal court record, court docket, and inmate databases from available parishes. Also on this page are statewide resources for Department of Public Safety & Corrections inmate databases; inmate parole dockets; federal inmates; Court of Appeals records; statewide registered offenders, and federal PACER criminal court records (an inexpensive pay site).
3) Louisiana State Police Bureau of Identification. Use the resource titled “Criminal History (info)” below for information from the Bureau of Criminal Identification on how to obtain a criminal history from the State Police. Searches require registration and $26 per search. Results may be delayed due to a number of factors. This report will not include federal court records, so we recommend a search for U.S. District Court PACER records, along with a federal inmate search.
