In North Dakota, there are limited jurisdiction courts, general jurisdiction trial courts, and appellate courts. The latter consist of the Court of Appeals and the North Dakota Supreme Court.
Limited jurisdiction courts are the Municipal Courts, which handle ordinance violations.
District Courts are the trial courts of general jurisdiction. They handle civil, felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases in the seven districts that divide North Dakota.

It allows a search of District Court cases and a limited number of Municipal Courts, but not all districts contribute records.
