96.6% of the population is White, 1% is Black or African American, 6.9% is Hispanic or Latino, 0.8% is Asian, 0.4% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 1.2% is two or more races.  91.3% have a high school degree or higher, and 23% have a Bachelor degree or higher.

The median home value is $176,900, there are 32,137 households, an average of 2.51 persons per household.  The per capita income is $25,625,  the median household income is $53,454, and 11.2% of the persons in Jefferson County are considered below poverty level.
