Grand County is located in northern Colorado.  The County Seat is Hot Sulphur Springs and the largest city is Granby.  The Official Web Site is located at http://co.grand.co.us/.  The 2014 population estimate is 14,546 and the 2010 census population was 14,843.  The land area is 1,846.33 square miles and there are 8 persons per square mile.

95.8% of the population is White, 0.5% is Black or African American, 7.9% is Hispanic or Latino, 0.9% is Asian, 0.7% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0.1% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 1.9% is two or more races.  94.4% have a high school degree or higher, and 32.8% have a Bachelor degree or higher.

The median home value is $282,000, there are 5,227 households, an average of 2.72 persons per household.  The per capita income is $31,684,  the median household income is $64,664, and 11.1% of the persons in Grand County are considered below poverty level.
