Campbell County is located in north central Wyoming.  The County Seat is Gillette and the largest city is Gillette.  The Official Web Site is located at http://www.ccgov.net .  The 2014 population estimate is 48,320 and the 2010 census population was 46,133.  The land area is 4,802.71 square miles and there are 9.6 persons per square mile.

94.9% of the population is White, 1.1% is Black or African American, 8.2% is Hispanic or Latino, 0.5% is Asian, 1.5% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0.1% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 1.9% is two or more races.  91.5% have a high school degree or higher, and 18.8% have a Bachelor degree or higher.

The median home value is $201,900, there are 17,108 households, an average of 2.71 persons per household.  The per capita income is $33,850,  the median household income is $79,488, and 7.7% of the persons in Campbell County are considered below poverty level.
