97.4% of the population is White, 0.9% is Black or African American, 0.8% is Hispanic or Latino, 0.3% is Asian, 0.2% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 1.1% is two or more races.  81.5% have a high school degree or higher, and 11% have a Bachelor degree or higher.

The median home value is $116,300, there are 16,380 households, an average of 2.69 persons per household.  The per capita income is $21,206,  the median household income is $44,341, and 14.1% of the persons in Brown County are considered below poverty level.
