72% of the population is White, 9.8% is Black or African American, 13.9% is Hispanic or Latino, 15.9% is Asian, 0.3% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0.1% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 1.9% is two or more races.  93.2% have a high school degree or higher, and 51.1% have a Bachelor degree or higher.

The median home value is $398,800, there are 115,531 households, an average of 2.79 persons per household.  The per capita income is $47,803,  the median household income is $99,020, and 5% of the persons in Somerset County are considered below poverty level.
