66.1% of the population is White, 15.1% is Black or African American, 42.9% is Hispanic or Latino, 15% is Asian, 1.2% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0.2% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 2.5% is two or more races.  81.9% have a high school degree or higher, and 36.3% have a Bachelor degree or higher.

The median home value is $347,200, there are 243,875 households, an average of 2.61 persons per household.  The per capita income is $32,641,  the median household income is $58,442, and 16.8% of the persons in Hudson County are considered below poverty level.
