93.2% of the population is White, 4.4% is Black or African American, 18.4% is Hispanic or Latino, 0.5% is Asian, 0.8% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0.1% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 1.1% is two or more races.  86% have a high school degree or higher, and 13% have a Bachelor degree or higher.

The median home value is $76,100, there are 5,134 households, an average of 2.59 persons per household.  The per capita income is $22,257,  the median household income is $45,734, and 14.8% of the persons in Cass County are considered below poverty level.
