92% of the population is White, 2.4% is Black or African American, 40.1% is Hispanic or Latino, 1.3% is Asian, 2.1% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0.2% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 2.1% is two or more races.  80.4% have a high school degree or higher, and 21.1% have a Bachelor degree or higher.

The median home value is $111,300, there are 7,043 households, an average of 2.69 persons per household.  The per capita income is $17,477,  the median household income is $38,764, and 25.4% of the persons in Roosevelt County are considered below poverty level.
