Bonner County is located in northern Idaho.  The County Seat is Sandpoint and the largest city is Sandpoint.  The Official Web Site is located at http://bonnercounty.us/.  The 2014 population estimate is 41,585 and the 2010 census population was 40,877.  The land area is 1,734.57 square miles and there are 23.6 persons per square mile.

95.9% of the population is White, 0.3% is Black or African American, 2.6% is Hispanic or Latino, 0.6% is Asian, 0.9% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0.1% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 2.2% is two or more races.  90.7% have a high school degree or higher, and 21.1% have a Bachelor degree or higher.

The median home value is $222,200, there are 17,388 households, an average of 2.32 persons per household.  The per capita income is $23,221,  the median household income is $41,414, and 15.2% of the persons in Bonner County are considered below poverty level.
