Florida Public Records
The Florida open government Sunshine Laws, passed in 1967 and 1995, are the most expansive of all the U.S. States. They grant public access to all state, county, and municipal records. Public records can be papers, documents, letters, books, maps, tapes, sound recordings, photographs, etc., made or received by any agency in the course of official business. Exceptions apply to records relating to active investigations, personal privacy, and state or agency security.
