74.9% of the population is White, 15.9% is Black or African American, 23.3% is Hispanic or Latino, 6.1% is Asian, 0.8% is American Indian or Alaska Native, 0.1% is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and 2.2% is two or more races. 87.6% have a high school degree or higher, and 45.4% have a Bachelor degree or higher.
The median home value is $518,400, there are 343,561 households, an average of 2.71 persons per household. The per capita income is $47,984, the median household income is $81,946, and 9.5% of the persons in Westchester County are considered below poverty level.
